Okay, so I am an out-of-state student who has been admitted to UCLA, and I am planning on staying overnight at the UCLA campus from April 5th to 6th. And after that I would like to visit UC Berkeley, which is about 6 hours via drive.

Do you guys know if there is any public transit I can use to get to Berkeley from UCLA
and its cost if possible?

I am trying to buy the plane ticket, so a quick response would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much!

Btw, I am visiting on my own.

when i visited both campuses over the summer i got a flight with virgin airlines i believe for about $60 one way and i think the flight was less than an hour long.

Fly from LAX to Oakland Airport and take BART directly to the campus. Return via BART and a flight home from Oakland Airport

What VMbuxton said.
Just to add, take the Flyaway from UCLA to the airport. It’s 5 bucks and fast.
Virgin and Southwest are popular airlines. Just check between the two right now and see which ones are cheaper. Book for flights early or they’ll get really expensive.
