<p>I would call the undergraduate admissions office. Then you would a concrete answer and even if they didn’t know they could redirect you to someone who does.</p>
<p>You don’t withdraw an SIR.</p>
<p>An SIR is a “statement of intent to register”. Basically, it is just a deposit for the school to hold your spot. When the deadline approaches, you will probably get a bunch of emails reminding you, but you can disregard. You will have lost the deposit and that is all.</p>
