AP scores 55555, so far. lol

My GPA is quite high (compared to my peers), 3.78-3.89 somewhere there.
Top 5% in a very competitive, nationally ranked high school.

As you can see, I really work my butt off for good grades.
I had a difficult transition junior year, with no AP prerequisites.
I am a worker, and not a slacker.
My counselor will write a rec that my junior year was a little transitional phase, but hopefully taking double AP classes and getting straight As senior year will prove that I have strong work ethic.

Is it too late for me now?
Can my senior year be brilliant, and help a soul?

Ecs,…etc I will PM.

How can I convince the adcoms (using essays, ECs, recs,…etc) that I am actually a strong worker?

Good luck to all of you!
smiles

You have 800s to compensate for your Bs.

I wouldn’t be concerned if I were you.

Sounds fake. You can take 13 courses your senior year? Yup, because Eng Lang and Eng Comp are obviously taken in the same year. And if this is your prediction, especially considering your past record, it’s highly doubtful you’d get all As. I also liked how you put “AP Lit” junior year and then you want to do “AP English Lit” the senior year. That sounds like a great strategy. Love the AP Lab Prep.

Thanks to all the posters so far. kwu, thanks for the careful insight. And 187, AP Lab Prep is actually a course in our school- it is not an AP class. Also, if you see my post, I took AP Lit this year, but I did not take the test, since it operates in a two year basis. AP Lang, in our school, however, can be taken in a year. Please understand that. Also, 187, thanks for your cautious observation and your time to comment on my thread.

You look neither lazy nor like a genius.

I don’t see the point of this thread.

I’d advise quadrupling your senior year AP classes and retaking the SAT to convince adcoms.

Haha, enough with your sarcasm.

While you do have a excellent SAT score, those B+'s make you look like you dont do much in school lol. But, I think you are fine.

If Bs are good for your school, it doesn’t matter.
