<p>Depends on what you want to do, what the unpaid work will entail, what the paid employment will entail, whether you can afford to do the unpaid work, whether your paid work will be in the field of IR, which IR programs you want to go to…</p>
<p>In other words, this question is impossible to answer in its current state.</p>
