what did you guy write about, can you give some feedbacks of your examples and what score do you think you will receive.
Is it good that I connect the story with the “grapes of wrath” and how the grandpa died because of moving…?
WHen will we know if we pass or fail?
WHat do you guy think of the passage?

my passage was about “staying put” and how people should inhabit one place or whatever… i just filled up my 4 pages and left in like 45 minutes lol

what do you think of my example and what were your
Do you think it was easy?

I wrote about “staying put” myself.

you know if you passed in 4-5 weeks. Why dont you pay attention >:0

what happens if we don’t pass the test?
I just wrote 2 pages… kinda short…huh? hmph

Hahaha. Oh man. I put so much crap into that essay.

Some of things I cited about “staying put:”

-Transcendentalism
-Existentialism
-Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe
-Religious Wars in Jerusalem/Palestine
-My experiences

You read the prompt, read the passage, and take notes while making connections to your support areas; after that, create a value judgement and develop your thesis.

uuhhh dang thats deep oyama. haha i just put some stuff about hwo moving around makes for good experiences and the only relation i made was to Walden.

Gee whiz I totally forgot about that exam. I finished in fifty minutes after writing about how people have to go out and seeka home to contently stay put in, how ND pays youth to at least study in their own homestate, and used a writer’s misadventures as an example on how he had to screw up before staying put aka settling down…

What did you write about for thing fall apart?.. I wrote about “how i contemplate” and “all the pretty horses”… i probably failed b/c i forget to mention sanders’ view. lol

so its a pass fail thing? if you pass, is it equivalent to getting a 680 or higher (exempting you from first year writing?)

I talked about the Halocaust and Hurricane Katrina, which showed that “Staying Put” wasn’t a great idea.

For Things Fall Apart, I mainly talked about the depiction of Okonkwo as a tragic hero, containing both adherent abilities to be aggressive yet undeniably proud enough to fight the white imperialists. His staying put is a heroic act in the eyes of the reader, even though his death at the end was cowardly.
