How high are the acceptance rates for people who apply to law schools after CM?

Do you think that the career counselors and advisers prepared you well and gave you solid information regarding law school apps and going into law in general?

Do you think CM has inflated/deflated grades, and how has that affected your law school plans?

You might want to check with the University. At first I thought it didn’t really have spreadsheets of information ready to give you if you asked questions such as these, but they do.

Our Career and Professional Development Center prepares our students well for life after 4 years of undergrad, including law school. Since we do not have a pre-law major, most students who are interested in going into law after take the initiative to find out information. The center definitely helps by offering mock interviews and resume build-up and stuff such as that, as well as finding opportunities to do internships and such during the summer to help.

For the most part, no, outside of majors such as Computer Science. You can take LSAT without having to be in a major related to law at all. But the academic rigor of all programs here has helped most students who plan on pursuing further education after their senior year, not necessarily just for law school.
