<p>It works acceptably, but not very well. I have a few friends who have Sprint, and they haven’t had any real issues except for bad call quality.</p>
<p>However, if you look at AT&T’s prepaid offerings, you can get unlimited everything for $60/mo. You either choose one of their phones or purchase a nice GSM smartphone to put your SIM card in.</p>
<p>If you want to push it even further, you can get StraightTalk unlimited for $45/mo; they resell Verizon. However, you are restricted to their overpriced phones.</p>
