If you do get those score, that’s great. You may get some merit aid from many schools too. It will definitely help your chance but probably not much more than someone with 35/2300. Now you need to focus on your GPA, ECs and essay.

Fordham’s certainly gonna be your safety school. Yes, colleges see other stuff too, but if you are outstandingly good at SAT, that’s gonna work. 2400 for the most selective Ivy Leagues, LAC, UCs are good but not outstanding. But 2400 for Fordham? Congrats! You’re in. Unless you horribly messed up with your GPA or have some disciplinary or criminal records (lol), you will certainly get into Syracuse or Fordham with no doubt. You don’t call “Fordham” a “top school”… It’s a fine school, but definitely not top.

Not a response to your college of choice. Q: Are you going into LS&A, Music, Art or Engineering? Music depends on your auditions; art your portfolio. Engineering is very competitive; many schools look at your GPA with ACT / SAT. GPA is very important. Some give more credit to your ACT but a great ACT score probaby won’t get you into a top notch college of engineering without a 3.8 UGPA & lots of other “stuff”. LSA opportunities are abundant; many more seats available than performing arts, music, and engineering.

@humanities2014 even if his gpa is terrible, he would still get into fordham. Killing someone is the only thing that could make him not get in lol seriously though

I know that when I get perfect scores on tests…it usually raises the awareness level of teachers for me, and my perfect ACT and SAT’s got quite satisfactory recognition from colleges and universities. That’ usually how it works. Those of us who always get perfect scores really rake in the accolades and the money.
