How will yale look at this?

SAT CR 610
SAT LIT 740

SAT MATH Reasoning 640
SAT MATH 2C 740

What’s the correlation and how will colleges look at this?

I think Yale will weight the SAT 1 more, especially for CR. Unfortunately, your CR is pretty low, but to make up for it, your Lit score is impresive (it’s hard to get 700+ on Lit.) Your math 2c score is good as long as you’re not majoring in math. If you have time, maybe try the ACT to improve your SAT 1 scores, but your SAT II’s are in the range for Yale. Yale I think weights the SAT and ACT equally, and though SAT/ACT isn’t the only determining factor, your SAT 1 scores might be too low for Yale, unless you have a college hook. But Yale might understand because the SAT 1 is more reasoning/subjective, while your good SAT II scores show that you retain what you learn–a good thing.

There are three people (two women and one man) at Yale who will at it. The man and one of the women will wonder why you did not take the SAT again. The other woman will not care because she thinks that the SAT only helps kids whose parents can afford SAT prep courses, but in the end, she will knuckle under to the other two. (It is possible that one of the three will be sick on the day that your application is read. If that is the case, then forget what I said.)

is one SAT II score that is below par alright for a school like yale so long as other subject test scores are good?

hahaha nice.
