<p>I want to major in emory’s joint major of Math and Computer Science, however, I have heard that a joint major is looked down upon by employers. I would probably be pre-med, but I just want to make sure that if I change my mind and want to go into a math career, a joint major wouldn’t be looked down upon. Also, if I didn’t go to med school I would most likely go to grad school for math.</p>

<p>Is a joint major one of those majors where you combine two areas? If so, are you thinking that an employer would think that you don’t have enough credits in either area? if so, make sure you take some extra classes.</p>
<p>Does Emory accept AP credits? if so, that might give you more room to take extra classes.</p>
