How would I fare?

Hi, this is not meant to be a chance thread. I’m a junior who simply wants to know if it’s worth it to apply early next year. UChicago has been my top choice for a long time, but looking at the stats of kids who got rejected frightens me. So any input would be great. Here are my stats:

I’d say you have a good chance, as long as you have good essays. Your SAT IIs won’t be considered, so I wouldn’t worry about them.

Seriously dude? Are you for real?

i dont understand why you are worried. i got in with far more modest stats

phuriku–what do you mean SAT IIs won’t be considered?

Chicago is one of the only top universities that doesn’t require SAT IIs for the admissions process. Therefore, you need not submit SAT IIs and, if you do, I don’t think they’ll look at them.

Thank you for clearing that up. My SAT II bio score was what I was worried about.
And do you know if they take AP scores into consideration?

There’s no space on the application to put your AP scores. If you put it in the ‘extra comments’ section, though, I’m sure someone will take a look at them. They’re probably not that important.

Essays. It’s the essays. Your stats are excellent. So are your ECs. Show Chicago why you fit.
