Hello,
I am a recent graduate from BSc program in Statistics, and I am contemplating on doing MSc in Statistics with University of Idaho. The reasons are:
- I have a full-time job so I have been looking for an online/distance education program in Statistics. University of Idaho is one of the few institutions that offers such an opportunity.
- Amongst those institutions that offers online program in Statistics, University of Idaho was the only institution that offers its distance education students the option of selecting a thesis-track
- The research area/interest of one of the potential supervisors at the University of Idaho matches well with my own research interest

I did my BSc at an institution that is ranked as one of the world’s top 100. University of Idaho seems not to have the same academic reputation as the university where I did my BSc at. If I do my MS in Statistics at the University of Idaho, how would people/employers perceive my academic record (assuming that I maintain a very good GPA throughout my MS program)? will they be positive about it? I am currently living in Alberta, Canada, and I don’t have any intention of relocating to a different place for employment
