It’s my understanding that they usually only really care about what school you graduated from.

I wonder if you would need to mention all that…could you just put B.sci from NC state on your resume and year graduated ?

As others said, they won’t care about the preengineernig or CC bit.

In fact, employers almost never look at transcripts anyway. And the only people who will actually scrutinize your college history are HR types to make sure your educational qualiifications are sufficient for the position. As long as your terminal degree is from an ABET accredited school and program, you’ll be fine.

"It’s my understanding that they usually only really care about what school you graduated from. "

Say it again 1000 times.

…and that’s only really applies if you have little to no experience. After some good work experience, your degree can be from the University of Montana and it will not matter.

Not in my experience. Both of my employers, once I was hired, have required that I have official transcripts sent to the HR department. It’s typically just to check and make sure that you have the degrees that you say you have, though. How you get there isn’t really that important, so long as you have a decent GPA and don’t lie about it on your resume.

ive heard that too. the rational being if you are 22-25ish, all you really have to show for your life is the degree (plus some summer jobs, co ops, whatever)

by the time you’re 30ish, if you cant hold a stable job or provide references/doing something with that degree, is a red flag. going to a school like mit or harvard and not being able to do anything with it is even more of a red flag.
