I wanted to major in history since I was a freshman in high school and recently I change my major to philosophy because i wanted to try something new. Now I’m pretty sick of philosophy and now want to change my major back to history. However, I am planning on transferring this year and I’m not sure how UCB and UCLA will evaluate my application.

As you can see, I am a one year transfer. Will that hurt my chances of getting in. Will my low AP scores be held against me? Will the Bs I got in college during my high school hurt me? Will all the philosophy classes I am taking right now instead of history classes have a negative impact on me during admissions?
