How's the Honors Program?

<p>So I’ve toured the campus already and I’ve decided that I’m going to apply to UW. My questions are:

  1. How’s the honors program?
  2. How are the Economics and Political Science departments?</p>

<p>I’m sure I’ll get into the program; I just want to hear about it from someone who is currently in it or knows a lot about it.</p>

<p>I’m a freshman in honors.
So far from what I’ve seen, it’s not much different from “regular”. You get your own dorming section if you want, and you need to take a “core” of honors classes that basically cancel out your VLPA requirements.</p>
