<p>UC Hair Salon is pretty basic, about on par with the average Fantastic Sam’s or other chain stylist. </p>

<p>I haven’t been to Edge, but (though pricey) I liked both Eclipxe (over on MLK x University) and Maxi (down Telegraph a few blocks). Basic hair cut/shampoo/style/dry runs ~$40, though.</p>
