HS senior scheduling panic!

I have asked a couple questions about my HS scheduling here before and after talking to friends and teachers I’m more confused then ever. I have a list of courses I could take. It has to add up to 15 tri (my school is on a trimester schedule). I plan to be a bio major with an emphasis on genetics.
course list:
AP Literature and Composition (3tri)
English 12 H (2tri)
AP Chemistry (3tri)
AP Physics C (3tri)
Physics H (2tri)
College Astronomy (1tri)
Wildlife Biology (2tri)
Government (regular) (1tri)
AP Government (3tri)
AP Calculus AB (3tri)
AP Statistics (2tri)
Web Page design (1tri)
Accounting 1 (1tri)
Computer Technology (1tri)
Psychology 1 (1tri)
Requirements I must fill:
1 tri of computer tech
2 tri of carreer education (web page, accounting)
1 tri of government (could take AP)
2 tri of English (could take AP)
Keep in mind I’m only considering the courses above please don’t further confuse me by suggesting others. Please put yourself in my situation (future bio major) and give me a list that fills my reqirements and adds up to 15 tri.
Please Please Please!!! give me your input!!!

im gonna say

AP Calculus AB (3tri)
AP Chemistry (3tri)
AP Literature and Composition (3tri)
Computer Technology (1tri)
Accounting 1 (1tri)
AP Government (3tri)
Psychology 1 (1tri)

Anyone else?

Mike-Without knowing what you have taken the first 2 semesters, therefore just walking in the dark here…
AP Lit
AP Cal AB
AP Govt
The have tos: Web,Computer & Accounting
The want tos: AP Science course of choice-or Stats

AP Calc AB (3 tri)
Web Page Design (1 tri)
Accounting 1 (1 tri)
Computer Technology (1 tri)
AP Government (3 tri)
AP Lit (3 tri)
AP Chemistry (3 tri)

AP Calculus AB (3tri)
AP Physics C (3tri)
AP Literature and Composition (3tri)
Computer Technology (1tri)
Accounting 1 (1tri)
AP Government (3tri)
College Astronomy (1tri)

There is no way I would ever take 4 AP classes at once!

Requirements (no choice):
Computer Technology (1tri)
Web Page design (1tri)
Accounting 1 (1tri)

Strongly suggest:
AP Calculus AB (3tri)
AP Chemistry (3tri) or AP Physics C (3tri)

Option I:
Government (regular) (1tri)
AP Literature and Composition (3tri)
Wildlife Biology (2tri)

Option II:
AP Government (3tri)
English 12 H (2tri)
Psychology 1 (1tri) or College Astronomy (1tri)

You really need to be the one to decide what interests you. That’s the most important thing.

How important is it that I get some physics before I go to college?

It’s not a block schedule? You have the same classes year long?

what kind of school are you trying to get into…i mean thats what it all depends on

specify, the OP’s school is on a trimester system with quasi-block scheduling. A class that is “3 tri” happens all year, and it seems that all AP classes are 3 tri, so those classes would all be happening simultaneously. 15 total “tri” of classes means 5 classes at once.

So his/her schedule with the four APs you suggest would look like this:
First Trimester: AP Calculus AB, AP Physics C, AP Literature and Composition, AP Government, Computer Technology
Second Trimester: AP Calculus AB, AP Physics C, AP Literature and Composition, AP Government, Accounting 1
Third Trimester: AP Calculus AB, AP Physics C, AP Literature and Composition, AP Government, Web Page Design

uhh.yea…thats what my schedule looks like to…and i have 8 classes in a day so i dont see the problem here

beefs–many people do take 4 or more AP classes and succeed, but the OP (who is the only one who knows his own school and the workload associated with its APs) has indicated that he doesn’t want to take on that level of challenge. However, that’s not what my post was addressing. I was simply explaining the trimester system to another poster who seemed confused about it.

o ok i apologize

What etselec is saying is sort of saying what I want. Since my school is on trimester schedule we spend a lot more time in an AP class and cover the topics in a lot greater depth than other schools, this is why our school has an extremely overall AP pass rate (nearly 100%). The point is that our AP courses are far more rigorous.
