<p>I’m thinking about traveling abroad for all of senior year to S.Africa. I’m currently a sophmore.
What is the best option if I still want to get into a competitive school? I could:
- Graduate Early - But then I’m thinking I’d have to enroll in college in S.Africa, which is not the point and I don’t want to pay for it.
- Try and get my HS to keep me enrolled and accept the credits from S.Africa -That way I can do all of my college app stuff through them.
- Transfer - I could transfer out and graduate with a S.African class. Then I could totally forget my HS’s graduation requirements (Gym? Art? I think not!) but how would that look to colleges like MIT? And it would complicate the admissions process, getting my grades to them, etc.</p>
<p>What do you guys think?
Anyone done it and how did they do it/what were the results?</p>
