Hello CC! I am a HS sophomore who is interested in becoming a programmer. I would like to focus on building social media apps and platforms. I was curious what you all though would be the best school for such endeavors. I know MIT and Stanford exist, and I know they are amazing schools, but at the same time I would like to consider the traditional Ivy League schools due to an enlarged feeling of belonging at these schools. My main two I would like to focus on are Harvard and UPenn. I am asking someone who is a parent, attended or works at both of these schools to tell me the pros and cons of both in terms of academics and student experiences after graduation. Which school has more students working in Silicon Valley and which school has a better program. I am asking with research done, but I would like “user testimonials” so I can hone more clearly in on my top choice for application in three years.
