HSHSP has been canceled
The program was cancelled due to COVID-19 
aaaaaah that sucks. Looking at the coronavirus situation, it was gonna happen at some point (UCD YSP cancelled today as well…).
Congrats again to everybody who was accepted; I’m sorry that it ended this way.
that’s a bummer. i’m going to be seriously looking at what i can do at home during the summer. just waiting on SSP and UF SSTP now although i anticipate them being cancelled as well.
I still can’t believe they haven’t informed all applicants that it was cancelled. What about kids who aren’t on cc to see what they told those who were accepted?

@michiaude sorry for being off-topic but has SSP been officially moved online? in the email regarding the survey on the online application (if you received that), they said they’re still facing the possibilities of cancelling or moving online, but haven’t decided yet. unless I’m missing something here 
@friarforever i agree, i wouldn’t have found out if i didn’t check CC. i wonder if they’ll still notify us if we were waitlisted or rejected; its kind of in limbo now
nevermind, just got the email from dr. Richmond about the program cancellation. :’(

At least no one had to deal with a rejection… now we can all assume we’d be the ones accepted if it hadn’t been cancelled ?
tbh i’d rather know if I got rejected rather than nothing
