Hsu `10 Wins Apker Award

<p>Recent grad, Chia Wei “Wade” Hsu has won the 2010 LeRoy Apker prize for outstanding undergraduate achievement in physics. What’s interesting here is that the prize, awarded by the American Physics Society (APS) is usually given to two recipients, one from a doctoral granting institution and the other from a non-Ph.D granting institution. This year Christopher Chudzicki, a Williams undergraduate won in the non-Ph.D category’ which means Wade had to compete against nominees from Harvard, MIT, Stanford and other much bigger research universities than Wesleyan: [LeRoy</a> Apker Award](<a href=“http://www.aps.org/programs/honors/awards/apker.cfm]LeRoy”>LeRoy Apker Award)
