Hello,

I will be beginning my freshman year at LMU this August and I just received my housing assignment (Huesman Hall). I did a quick google search and found mostly negative feedback of Huesman and I am wondering if I should try to fight the housing office and request to be placed in a different hall. 90% of what I saw on the web said Huesman is awful and the worst place to live on campus. Others said it was the best and should be # 1 on your list of preferences.

The way I see it, with paying about 60K tuition for a small liberal arts school you should be getting a little service for the steep price-tag. For God-sakes this housing was built in 1947. Plus it is all male housing which is awful to begin with. My preferred housing was Del Rey North/South.

Please advise whether I should stay in Huesman Hall or if not, what is the best way to go about fighting housing to be switched?

Any help would be really appreciated.
