Hey guys,
A few days ago, my dad decided to submit my Princeton application on the Common App website FOR me, apparently unaware that my common app essay was completely different from the one that I submitted ED, and that all my supplements were incomplete on the Common App website… If the admissions officers read this version of my common app, they’ll almost certainly reject me–is there any way to exchange the essays etc ex post facto?
At least from the Common App side, when something is submitted it’s submitted – no going back. However, you can still change your application by reaching out to Princeton’s Office of Admissions. Their phone number is (609) 258-3060. I’d just call and tell them about your situation, and I’m sure that they’ll help you out.
Just wanted to recommend that you change your CA password so your dad can’t provide any additional “help” to you.
That is just unbelievable. I am so sorry. Cubano123 has provided excellent advice - I am sure they will help you out if you explain your situation. Good luck to you! Always best when parents stay out of it.
