I’m at community college right now. By the time the fall semester starts, I should be four classes away from an associates, about to transfer into a four year school in the spring. I’d like to take the aforementioned class an elective, just because I’m interested. Generally, I hear that’s it an extremely difficult course. I’m going to be a humanities major (maybe law school) so it really is something I’d take “just because”. Bad idea?

It is always a good idea to take things “just because”. If you don’t try new things occasionally you won’t learn much! Think of what an advantage this course could be for you if you do end up in law and find yourself working on cases that deal with health insurance, work-related injuries, etc., etc.
