Hume

Is there a difference between Hume East and Hume West? Hume East is almost filled up while Hume West has many vacancies. Is East a lot closer to campus than West, or is there some other benefit?

Also what does the near side/ far side of each building refer to…? I’ve heard that used a few times…

Thanks!

The two buildings are next to each other, but hume east is the one that’s probably a hundred yards closer to where everything else on campus is. I lived in the “Mid-West” so Hume West, Near.

Near and far refers to the fact that each of the two buildings is divided in half, and each half has its own common room, RA, and all that. Near refers to being close to the central office of hume, far is the other section.

In reality they’re all the same, some years East is better then West, it’s pretty much luck of the draw.
