<p>Looks great. Your stats are fine for acceptance. However, you’ve got to explain in your HumEc essay how you can’t imagine being pre-med anywhere else. Your goals are their goals, their research is exactly what you have always wanted to do, their philosophy is yours - if indeed this is true! They’ll be able to tell if you’re using this as a backdoor to CAS. Do not apply to a second college within the university!!!</p>

<p>The word is that the acceptance rate for AEM within CALS is much lower than for other majors in CALS - does anyone know if there is the same issue for specific majors within HumEc? That is, are there certain majors in HumEc that have much lower acceptance rates than the others or than the overall HumEc school acceptance rate?</p>
