^ exactly.

People say Barack is too ambitious, but Sarah Palin? This just takes the cake. Way too ambitious for her own good and she doesn’t even know what a Vice President does except that it’s prestigious. She’s the real “Prestige Whore” that CCers keep talking about.

Most likely incorrect. It was probably 2-3 weeks before her 18th birthday.

She’s ambitious because she said yes to the offer of VP?

edit: Obviously yes, but the question is this: Is she too ambitious when compared to someone who actually thinks they can be president. It seems like one requires cosmically higher level of ambition.

To be honest, I feel sorry for the Palin family. I think Palin acted unwisely when she said that she was still open for the VP slot, but I think that McCain should be the one blamed for this. He, as well as Palin, knew about the exposure of Palin’s family that was to come. He knew that he was thrusting a woman without any experience into the media spotlight, where she would be put under an incredible amount of pressure. Yet he chose her anyway. So he could win the presidency. The selfish one is McCain.

^ And Palin. It’s not as though she was forced to accept.
