<p>I’m interested to see how much one can really tell about me based on my numbers. I will post my data and my interests, and I want you to come up with a list of colleges that you think will be appropriate for me. If your list of considerations for me looks anything like mine, I’ll be impressed.</p>

<p>White, female, elite suburban high school
SAT: 700 CR, 720 M, 650 W
SAT II: 690 Bio, 710 Chem, 690 Math IIC
ACT: 30
AP: Only one taken so far: US History, 5
GPA: 3.82 uw
school doesn’t rank, but probably top 15-20%</p>

<p>Senior year courses:
AP BC Calculus (First Semester grade: A-)
AP English (First Semester grade: A)
AP Spanish (First Semester grade: A-)
AP US Government (First Semester grade: A)
AP Physics (First Semester grade: B)</p>

<p>Major: English</p>

<p>EC’s:
Editor-in-chief of high school newspaper (involved for all of high school as writer, assisstant editor, etc)
Editor of literary magazine for one year
Forum Discussion Leader
Member of Math Team
Writing Seminars at local college
write occasionally for local paper</p>

Creative writing program at University of Iowa
worked for local newspaper</p>

<p>well, i think everyone here is pretty much right in that a list of your interests would be much more helpful than a list of your courses. But the only advice i can offer based on my assumption that you like science and math (i deduced this from your choice in SAT II’s) is that you could look into some science/engineering oriented schools. Other than that, you’ll have to think about the kind of place you’d want to spend four years and visit, visit, visit…</p>

<p>If you want to have some “fun,” go out and go bowling or out to dinner with someone. If you want some quick advice, come on this site occasionally for a few minutes a week and ask something.</p>
