I studied my ass off during the summer inorder to raise my SAT II physics score. My initial diagnostic score was 620(beggining of summer vacation). I took one today, and i got 750! hurray! studying pays off!

My strategy (and probably a strategy for every other sat subject test):
1.) take initial diagnostic test
2,) locate weaknesses
3.) study all subjects… but mainly focus on weak subjects. Go through all of the book’s material (do not skip around the book like an idiot)
4.) Review all subjects after studying each of them
5.) Take another practice test
6.) find weaknesses and keep on studying
(about 7 hours a week)

Hurray, 750… i hope to raise it even more… i’m taking it in October! more time for me…

I don’t even understand SAT IIs. I want to go to a good college… should I take them? Are there books you can study off of for them like the regular SATs? Which subjects do you need? When do you take them? Why do you take them? Who should take them? GAH.

Averagedesi I don’t mean to be rude but I saw your stats and you need not worry about SAT subject tests. You need to put all your effort into your grades or you’re going to the local community college as bassmaster said.

Another thing I would add for the SAT II Physics test is to remember to pace yourself. I didn’t pace myself very well when I took it and didn’t answer the last five questions. Seriously, I didn’t have this problem with any other SAT II, so just thought that I’d point that out.

Anyway, I agree, 750 is an awesome score. Why did you want to take it again?

That advice is perfect for any SATII. I know personally that you should use that advice for World History.
