<p>I know that the EA applicants are usually mostly legacy and athletes and such. Do the admissions for regular decision pick athletes who weren’t recruited but showed willingness to play the sport but are just as qualified? Will it help a little?</p>
<p>These are still D1 schools which means the athletic caliber is still top notch. Are you at that level?
Second, admissions will give no extra consideration to someone who wants to walk on.</p>

<p>Contact the coaches. If you’re really that good, they may be able to help, even this late in the process. Otherwise, your sport is just a typical EC.</p>
