Please list your opinions of my chances for getting into HYP, Upenn and Cornell .
Also, any suggestions for other colleges I can apply to, things I can do over the summer, or just suggestions in general are greatly appreciated!

Awesome! You have a good chance every where. You have a nice GPA, SATs, and ECs, just hope that your essay is as good.

Great chances. HYP is always difficult and occasionally surprising, but your SATs and rank are stellar.
The biotech apprenticeship is less common than your other ECs-- not to say that they’re not impressive, but imo, the internship could set you apart.
Anyway, I can’t see you not getting in to at least one of HYP and probably to Upenn and Cornell. People from my school got in to the latter two with much less impressive stats than yours.
Best of luck!

Thanks for your opinions!

However, the biotech thing wasnt an internship per se, it was more of a expanded service that my intermediate unit offers. I basically went to a class in a college in the city with other people in the “apprenticeship” and we learned biotech every other week for maybe 4-5 hrs on fridays from a professor. Would the colleges need to know the specifics of this? or would they just assume that it was something awesome?

You are solid for Penn and Cornell, especially if your school is competitive. Unfortunately, HYP as an Asian candidate from the NE with no apparent hook are unlikely unless your recs and essays can really make you stand out from the tens of thousands of applicants who look a lot like you on paper-Asian, high stats, tennis, interest in science.

thats what i was afraid of: blending in to the applicant pool
what can i do to make myself stand out?

any more ideas or chance opinions?
