Hypothetical question for guys: If you could get into Harvard (or any other dream college), but the catch was, you would have to be castrated, would you do it?

No, and anyone who says yes to this question is the nerd of nerds on CC who’s packing their pants with calculators and protractors instead of their weewees.

Good question Mao.

typical commy question… why don’t you go take a great leap forward? How’d that work out for you?*

*sorry, I’m in AP World mode right now.

Some people’s reason for going to college would be negated thereby anyways.

-_- why don I even bother looking at these questions…

Not even in the realm of possibility.

*commie. And Mao did not actually follow Communism truly. The People’s Republic of China is as communist as it is a people’s republic. And communism is a world system, anyway.

Hm…

This is a really awful question. I genuinely hope that no one says “yes”…

hmm…i’m a girl.

If that means I don’t have to suffer once a month, then it would be a double plus.

Just kidding.
I still want my own babies.

Yes…

No.

But I have zero interest in going to Harvard anyway.

No

I always liked penn over Harvard. As Darwin claimed, survival of the fittest is determined by the potential of having children. And, I am not shallow enough to go to Harvard when i have lost my manhood

“or any other dream college”

You can still be manly without testicles.

But no. Exchanging college for any body part I wanted to keep seems like a terrible idea.

Who said the goal was to be “manly”? And there are multiple types of castration; I think the one in question is a little more harsh than yours.

OP: No way. College may seem like everything to us now, but life and love are much more important.

“You can still be manly without testicles.”

If I ever find out that a guy cut off his privates just so he’ll go to Harvard I’ll never treat him as a man ever again. Just saying.

Note I said you CAN be manly, not will be.

I’d still treat that guy like a man, but I’d snicker behind his back about his awful, awful decision.

Nobody has actually followed Communism truly and, yes, I fully understand the differences between the ideal communist nation (or, as you say, “world system”) and the realities of China, where private industry has grown at a rapid pace over the past few decades (esp. since Mao’s death). The communist regime in China (for this is what THEY call themselves) has improved the standard of living for the vast majority of people, an accomplished not in similarly sized nations (e.g. India), so I wouldn’t discredit it so much.

And forgive me for not providing a very detailed response (and misspelling a word) in response to a question on the removal of testicles.

Hey, testicles are serious business. This thread deserves your full attention and respect.
