<p>I have a 4.39 weighted and 3.77 unweighted until junior year. I’ve taken 6 AP’s, gotten 5’s on all except 2. 800CR, 760M, 710W (essay 9), National merit semifinalist, great recs, pretty good essays, member of preprofessional orchestra, concertmaster at high school orchestra, co-prez of academic decathlon, sent in a music supplement. Los Angeles resident, East asian, very good public HS, top 10%</p>

<p>That brings my senior year GPA to a 4.17</p>

<p>I’ve applied to UC Berkeley, LA, SD, Cornell, MIT (deferred), Stanford, and Yale.</p>

<p>I think you have a pretty good chance at the UC’s and Cornell. Your GPA, SAT, and rank all look good. MIT, Stanford, and Yale are obviously reaches for everyone. </p>
