Hi everyone, I’m trying to find another way to refer to HYPSM because a more general audience might not know what it stands for. What’s a good alternative? “Top tier” has been considered, but that likely is too broad. Thank you!

Colleges with the lowest acceptance rate in US (for boys, for girls its HYPS).
Though I’ve become partial to CHYMPS :), I think for OP’s purposes, “Top 5” or “Top 10” should fit the bill.

Isn’t the lowest acceptance rate Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia? Or Alice Lloyd College in KY?
^But those are specialty schools. For colleges admitting freshmen without concentration or majors HYPSM are the toughest to get into in US.
