This is going to be a little difficult to explain, but I went to see a counselor before submitting my college applications through csuapply and she might have given me the wrong information. The Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) has a weekend college called Instructional Television (ITV). Basically a hybrid program. I took English 101 through ITV and lectures from the professor were conducted at 2 different LACCD colleges (I attended Southwest College for lectures because it was closer). I failed the class and retook it at my primary college so that was a waste. Anyway, I listed ITV as one of the colleges I attended and my counselor said my transcripts shows Mission College and that I should change ITV to Mission, because the universities will get the same transcripts she was looking at (I didn’t get a copy). First of all I thought it was strange because I didn’t go there at all, however I figured she knew better than I did I mean she is the professional after all, and Mission is a laccd college. Now I am starting to think that she gave me the wrong advice. I feel that it is my fault as well for not double-checking, but I was really eager to complete the process. I submitted my application with Mission College listed and I am afraid it will affect my chances in getting accepted to the universities I applied to for Fall 2018. Is there anything I can do or is it too late to fix the error? I checked my unofficial transcripts and it shows ITV not Mission or any other laccd colleges sigh.
You need to request an official transcript. That may have details that don’t show on the unofficial one.
