So last spring I applied to USF as a lower division transfer student and got in. I stayed at the community college to finish my AA degree (I saved tons of $). USF is not my top choice, but I wouldn’t mind going there. If I applied again, would they deny based on my decision not to go there right away and that I may turn them down again? USF is a back up school for me, in case things don’t go as I planned. I am not bashing USF by all means.

DO NOT WORRY. USF will look at you all over again, and NOT hold it against you that you did not accept the acceptance. Many students end up staying at their community or state college to finish up. Simply let them know that during the application process. I think it is a positive that you were accepted before. It is not as if you went elsewhere, you just decided to stay put.

If you’re reapplying for admission to a term within 12 months of the term you were originally accepted for at USF, I think you can simply submit the attached form with your updated info. Contact a USF transfer admission counselor asap to find out exactly what they need before they fill up for the coming terms.

It has already been 12 months, therefore I am required to apply again.

O ok. Maybe still ask USF if they’ll allow you to just update your application and waive new application fee seeing how you were already admitted not too long ago; it can’t hurt to ask. Good luck, and get your stuff in early.
