I am in love with USC

I recently visited USC this spring and it is my top choice for colleges I hope to attend. I have good grades and good SATs. Is there anything else I need to get in?

Are you OOS or do you live in SC?

Hi! I really hope you become a Gamecock! It’s a really great place to be!

If you look at this: [USC Institutional Assessment and Compliance](<a href=“Institutional Research, Assessment, and Analytics - Institutional Research, Assessment, and Analytics | University of South Carolina”>Institutional Research, Assessment, and Analytics - Institutional Research, Assessment, and Analytics | University of South Carolina)

It shows that GPA and SAT are considered “Very Important”. Record and Class Rank are “Important”. Recs, ECs, Essays, State Residency, and all other things are just “Considered”.

So, if your SAT’s are good and your GPA is good, then you should be fine. :)

You say your stats are good. Visit the admissions website to see how you stack up. If you seem be on high end, look at stats for honors college and Capstone scholars, two excellent programs if you qualify. If you’re close, take the SAT again (also if stats at lower end…USC is more competitive each year and what your classmate from 2 years ago made to get in might not be enough now!)

sabres… Apply early, and make sure your transcripts and other supporting information gets sent ASAP.

I’ve been admitted to the class of 2016.

When you fill out your application there is a optional personal statement. My tip is to defiantly do that, it’s what got me accepted.
