I am only allowed to drop 2 classes, use one of them on an elective?

<p>I had a physics 2 test and a technical elective test on the same day so I gave most of my time to physics…</p>

<p>I took the technical elective exam and I got ***pwned… The professor claims he has never failed anyone due to the way he grades… strong curve (relative to your peers). (which we can not find out exactly what it is really till the course is over)…this is what makes me unsure or not whether to drop</p>

<p>worst part is that the test was open-book open notes, open everything.
the exam was insane crazy hard, but I guess thats why its open everything.
(when I heard that an exam is open-everything…I guess I might have underestimated it)</p>

<p>My university only lets me drop 2 courses from this point till I graduate, should I use one on this elective course?</p>

<p>I am a computer science major, and i am sure i will run into tougher courses…maybe</p>

<p>don’t drop it. it’s a bit weird your school only lets you drop two classes ever. i would say just hang in there and do the best you can do and try to ace everything else. since you haven’t gotten the results wait and see what you got on the test. maybe it’s not as bad as you think.</p>
