I am visting USC next week, anything i should do?

Hey i’m visiting USC next monday. anything specific that i should do?

Order a carne asada burrito from Chano’s.

For5aken, are you by any chance a member of the USC Class of 2011 group on Facebook?

bballpg04, I’m assuming you’re attending orientation.

Take the tours of the housing, and be sure to go to the spirit rally at night. If it’s open, get a “Viterbi Chip” blended drink at the Tutor Hall Cafe in Ronald Tutor Hall at the Viterbi School of Engineering.

Haha, I’m in '10.

Um, there’s not much you can really do during orientation. If you found out what building you’re in, make sure to get a glimpse of what your room would look like so you can start figuring out where you’re gonna put all your junk (and how long your ethernet cable has to be).

You can wander around on campus, I guess. Um, you could get a milkshake at Ground Zero (I have yet to do that), wander around in the philosophy building (haven’t done that either), chill in the gerontology courtyard, go to the top of PSD and appreciate what little view of downtown we have, etc.

And the spirit rally is a must.

If you go to Ground Zero, I would suggest the Happy Fortune milkshake, which is Famous Amos cookies + cinnamon + honey + ice cream (so good). Or if you’re a fan of espresso, Everything But The Girl Scout milkshake is good.
