My admission decision was made june 1stā¦ has anybody herd since june 1st letters went out?</p>
<p>I have to agreeā¦ TAMU has no idea what theyāre missing by denying us. To be honest, its rather disappointing how horrible their OAR department is. Every time I have called or sent a message, they have been very cold and unwilling to help. Whatever happened to southern hospitality?</p>
<p>And to add insult to injury, I found out today that I canāt even go to UT. Itās too expensive because things are falling through with my parents jobs. I have no idea what Iām going to do now. </p>
<p>Even worse is that I canāt get out of the lease I signed for off-campus housing at TAMU. What a horrible sequence of events. I would really like a punching bagā¦ now.</p>

<p>Im on step 3/4 (they are in hte middle of reviewing they say).</p>

<p>SAT: 2050 (ONLY TOOK ONCE)
READING: 570
MATH: 800 (hell yea)
WRITIN: 680
ESSAY: 9/12</p>
<p>SAT MATH 1 SUBJECT: 750
SAT MATH 2 SUBJECT: TAKING IN ONE WEEK.</p>
<p>RANK: 52/376 (TOP 14%)</p>
<p>EXTRA CIRIC. ACTIVITIES: A LOT too much to list. I am Treasurer of an organization too.
SPORT: cross country, im not pro though.</p>
<p>CLASSES: ALL AP/dual credit/college</p>
<p>VOLUNTEER: 52 hours so far.</p>

I applied October 22 and Iām still on step 2 so Iād say your gonna have to wait a couple more weeks.</p>

<p>thru AIS?</p>
<p>do they send you an ais login?</p>
<p>You should receive your AIS login info about 2-3 days after you send in your application.</p>

You see, im very unusual and do u know how?</p>
<p>well: i AM in the top 25% (top 14%), BUT for auto admit u need a combines CR AND MATH SAT of 1300 WITH AT LEAST 600 IN EACH SUBJECT.</p>
<p>well i dont have that ā600 in each subjectā.</p>
<p>my math and reading is 1370, which is well over 1300 =), but my CR is 570, and math 800. so yaā¦unusually and unfortunately i dont qualify for auto admitā¦i was 2 SAT questoins away on the CR from a 600 dangit lol</p>
<p>Well bobish there was no point to put your first and second choice as engineering because if one engineering department denies your application another will look at it. You should have chosen general studies or something easier then transfer over if you dont get into engineering.</p>

<p>bobish, I thought of that after I posted. Sorry. But I still think you have a good chance. Ds wasnāt an auto-admit either, just out of the ranking range because of his beast of a school, but he was accepted in two weeks!</p>

my only worries is getting into tamuā¦not the engineering college because for the engineering college they look at ur sat math scoresā¦and im pretty sure an 800 should be good enuf.
wutever i hope i can get inā¦if not i can always transfer after 1 year at another college such as UofH rite?</p>

<p>It will probably take a week or so to get a letter. If it is a a large envelope, you weāre accepted. If it is a normal envelope, you were denied.</p>

<p>Step 5 lets you accept the admission offer.</p>

I sent in my app on october 12 and its only NOVEMBER 4th!!!
that was freaking fast! considering im not even an automatic admit! im in top 15%ā¦lol</p>

and yes, if ur at step 3 or 4, u will find out very soon!!
i only spent like 1 week max at step 3ā¦and if u get admitted, it usually skips from step 3to step 4 really fast.
like that one guy said, step 5 is only for those who get admitted =)
