I am wondering whether this is true about Yale.

Those doctoral or graduate students at Yale University but without bachelor degrees from Yale College are not considered as real yalemen. Right?

I’ve actually thought about this before, and I have come to this conclusion:

To be a true Yalie is to go through Yale College (Undergrad). Maybe this has something to do with the Residential Colleges? It’s not like a written rule or anything, but it just seems like people are closer to the school they go to for undergrad than grad or so on.

But then, I could be horribly wrong. :)
