Through a teacher at my hs, I found an i-banking internship and my interview is scheduled in early February. Does anyone know what tasks they might assign to a high school senior? Thanks

non-stop gopher job

probably extreme b1tch work. no worries though, the fact that you have an I-Banking intership will look good for the future. it doesnt matter what you necessarily do. it matters what words are on that resume. you can spruce it up anyway you’d like when that time comes anyway. congrats and good luck

would the same be true for college student who gets an academic year internship through the school?

Much of any internship depends on whom you report to. Some experiences are filled with learning and personal contacts others are not.

Chances are that you won’t get a decent position until youve finished sophomore year; and this makes sense. In college you only take very few business courses in your freshman year, if any. You basically know as much as a hs senior.
