<p>at 5 pm. This is what was done last year. It will be after 5 pm so that you will not be able to call them until the next day to complain. </p>
<p>You will get an email and it will contain the information that you will get in the USPS mail a few days later. It will state what college you were admitted too and if you got a living learning community(Honors, Scholars, or Civicus). You will find out about scholarships later. </p>
<p>You will select what program you want in either Honors or Scholars in February. </p>
<p>I am a mom of a dd who went through the process last year. This is exactly what happened to her. She learned she was admitted to her LEP and she got into scholars. Then later she got into her first choice scholars program when they made those decisions. She is not attending UMCP by choice. She felt a smaller college would be better for her and is attending our state LAC. </p>
<p>I also graduated from UMCP many years ago from the school of busines, so I have a good idea what you all are going through. I went to community college first and then onto UMCP. I was one of six kids from a middle class family and the first to graduate from college. There is more than one way to get into UMCP. For the record everyone of my family members that went to college felt we got a better education from CC then the universities. Most of us due to financial reasons, started at community college.</p>
