I can't believe that I'm doing this...

I know that all of you don’t follow ‘just stats’, but I sometimes wonder that my stats are too bad.

So, could you tell me if I have ANY chance whatsoever?

SAT: N/A, yet
SAT II: M IIC: 650 Bio E: 700
ACT: 27 (29 math), but I have a really good feeling that I did much better on this saterdays act.
Rank: 30/~760
GPA 3.87 UW, no weighted one.
AP: Euro (stupid 2)
Music (3)

IB: Music (3)
And this year:
Mathematics SL (It’s all my school offers)
English A1 HL
Biology HL
Spanish B SL
History of the Americas HL
Theory of Knowledge

ECs: (Just the ones I put on the app)

 1. Service and community activities. Including CAS, and eagle project.
 2. Chess, including President of the chess club, and a few tourneys.
 3. Technical projects (mainly talking about computer science, and a personal watercraft my school and I are building via inventeams).
 4. Music Composition, including a piece I wrote for the centennial calibration for a small town.
 5. Podcasting, topics such as technology, and literature

The 100 word essay: 3d CGI, for video games, and movies.
The other 100 word essay: I talked on how I loved 6-3, because of OCW.

What I made:
I read an audiobook for LibriVox.

My Optional essay:
I split it in two. I first talked on how I love openness, and then I talked on how I will go where ever I need to go to learn what I need to learn. For examples, I gave my leaving all of my piers to go the a High School, for IB. And how I also decided to get an associates degree as I graduate High School.

For the main essay: I talked about how my low vision has got me to a position where I am a big contributer to my community. (Either that, or it gave me a big ego  ).

My parents wouldn’t let me get a job. :(

Summer Activities: Summer term at a community college, online classes, a few summer camps, and a family trip.

I believe that that’s all. What do you guys think? Thank you!

i think u have a really, really good chance…did u really read an audio book? that’s so cool!!! and heck yeah, OCW for the win!

Ya, I read Around the World in 80 days. I also read part of The Time Machine, and a few stories of Sherlock Holmes.

Anyway, what do other people think?

Thank you

your stats don’t matter as much as your personal qualities; that being said, i think that yours will definitely serve the purpose of getting your foot in the door. if your essays are interesting and reflect who you really are, you should have a good shot. the audiobook thing is really cool!

do you have a good voice or something? lol, how do you get that “job” to read audiobooks?

It wasn’t a job. It was entirely volunteer work.

And they will take anyone reading. They say that if you don’t like a reading, then do it yourself. (They say it in an encouraging manner)

I hope you didn’t spell your “peers” as “piers” in the essay.

A little proofreading would catch that mistake!

Actually, I don’t think I used peers, or piers in the essay, I described it slightly difforently.
