I love the customer images for the laptop desk. I was shaking my head looking at the product pictures and then nearly busted a gut laughing when I got to the gruesome accident photos.

Actually, I would love one of those laptop steering desks, and would NEVER use it while driving. Our agency does all of our patient charting on laptops. If you make four patient visits a day, and wait until you get home at the end of the day to chart, it’s harder to remember the details of each visit. I prefer to chart in my car after each visit (I usually move my car down the street and park or find a parking lot). At this time, it involves me setting my laptop on my middle console, and twisting my body to try to type. I would much rather prefer to sit upright, facing forward to do my charting.

I would guess that many people who make several face-to-face calls a day and have to generate reports on computers would like something like this.

But it seems as if some people don’t understand that there are responsible people out there who would benefit from this product.

Oh I get it- sometimes I work in my car before an appt and the steering wheel is in the way, so I usually climb into the other seat- I just thought it was funny
:D
