I Cant Break 1800!

I plan on taking the June Sat 1 (second time) but I cant break 1800. I am planning on applying to HPYS schools so I need to raise it alot. How do you do so?

P.S. I’ve been practicing almost everyday but still dont see improvement.

What are you making mistakes in? If you can’t break 1800 and are practicing everyday, you are either not practicing right, or are not HYPS material.

Do a content review first, then. Get Direct Hits for vocabulary, Gruber’s for Math, Sparknotes online sources for Writing, and practice for CR. Maybe you don’t know everything you should know. Are you reviewing your answers + explanations thoroughly after each practice test?

In order for anyone to help you, it needs to be mentioned what sections you are struggling with. You would practice math different then critical reading, so nobody can really give that much help. Just make sure you spend time and review why you got something wrong.

What do you mean by “Direct Hits”? I know there are 2 volumes for vocab, but does the book cover more than vocab or something?

Try the ACT.
