I live in Colorado Springs and am admitted already to UCCS. However, I just finished my AA in general studies at a CC and have a 4.0 GPA, so I can get into a better university. I am using the post 911 GI bill and I have only used 8 months of it so far. I am looking at going to A&M in Texas or CSU in Fort Collins. I’m not worried about the reputation of the school, but I am worried about the quality of professors teaching me, and UCCS seems to keep some terrible professors on staff from what I’ve read online. I’m in my late 20’s and married so I absolutely DO NOT care about factors like how cool or hip a place is for making friends and other insignificant crap that contaminates many school’s ratings online. Has anyone attended any of these schools for engineering? I appreciate any advice that I can get.
A&M probably has the best academic reputation of the lot.
