I got back my results from Act and I scored low on English And science Again 26 & 24. I studied my tail off!! MY highest act English score has been a 31. But I’ve studied everything and I’ve ordered at least a dozen books off of Amazon and studied them. And for science, I do well on practice tests. and I think I do well on the real thing but I do bad. Please Help Me!!!
Please give me websites, tips , and personal advice.

Perhaps try taking the SAT?

What may be happening is you’re simply studying the things you already know
You should figure out what part of each subject you find the hardest or figure out which questions you miss the most and base your studying off of that

make sure you know concepts, of course, but TAKE PRACTICE TESTS. that’s the only way to beat the ACT. that’s the way I took my 30 to a 35. practice practice. and time yourself. take the breaks that they will allow you in the real ACT. it’s the only way.

Use real ACT Tests.

You must time yourself. My prep class did not do this and it hurt me.

For science, I save the 7 question scenario for last. I do the DA’s first and the RS’s second.

I only review the questions I did not get right.

what I do is cut out the questions I got wrong and paste them on a notebook
Then I write few comments why I got this wrong and what concepts I need to study further

This was very helpful for me.
