<p>Argh! As the title suggests, I absolutely loathe it that some schools, especially my safeties are all non-common app schools!</p>
<p>I have to get hard copies of all my school transcripts, verify them and send them out repeatedly. Not to mention as an international student, I have to provide verification that I can pay before they can even CONSIDER my application. Yes I can pay, why else would I even apply overseas! argghh</p>
<p>I feel so tempted to not even apply to my safeties!</p>
<p>Get real, and stop crying.Don’t apply if these schools require such a monumental effort to apply.If you can so easily pay , perhaps you can pay someone to do the menial tasks for these non common app safety schools.Or you can attend a school where you won’t be international.</p>
<p>Perhaps they only want people to apply who really want to attend their schools. I mean why should they bother evaluating you if you find it too much of an effort to send in one of their application forms?</p>
<p>Wow, calm down guys. If you are applying to a large number of schools, CommonApp makes things a lot easier. I definitely agree that it would be nice if more schools could use it.</p>
<p>I think many colleges who accept the common application don’t do it just because they want to make it easier for students to apply there. I believe they do it to bring more revenue to the schools and make their colleges look more selective to USNWR.</p>
<p>Then don’t apply to those colleges. :rolleyes:</p>
