Since SIR’s were due 3 days ago, I wanted to know your reasons for choosing UCLA over other schools and why. Personally I chose UCLA over Cal for biz econ because I fell in love with the campus and city when i visited ucla and i know that the opportunities are the there at ucla as well. I heard very good things about ucla’s career center and the recruting there. I am looking for a career in either consulting in the big 3 or accounting/ TAS in the big 4.

i chose cal over UCLA cuz im an EECS major and berkeley is amazing in that area
and also cal is better than ucla :D

no school is better than the other. success relies upon you.

How to choose among UCLA, Cal, Ivy Leagues, Stanford, Caltech, etc, (Also in terms of Business school)?

Really curious. thx

chose UCLA over USC and Cal. all great schools (except usc;] ) but IMO ucla is the best. i’m a bio major.

I chose UCLA over University College London, University of Bath, and University of Manchester because it’s the most prestigious, most flexible, and is just totally awesome. It also is consistently in top 10 rankings for engineering/reputation and top 15 overall in the whole world. I know rankings aren’t that important, but it helps!

Chose UCLA over SD, SB, SC, I, and D because LA is absolutely amazing!!!

Sun, great education (most prestigious of my lot), beautiful people, and awesome city. What else could I ask for?

Depending on what aspect of business you’re going for. If it’s sales/ marketing/ operation/ real estate than you would want to go to a traditional business school that offer those programs. UCLA doesnt have an UG b school but it does have business econ which is basically econ+ accounting. However you can take upper div courses at the Graduate b school Anderdon in UCLA which is super cool too.
